Reach for the sky

I’ve told Puppy that nail polish is for grown up girls.

But there are no limits to a 5 year old’s creativity.

My eldest, my 5 year old girl, going on 15.

This happened during my afternoon nap today.

Blu-tack HAS it’s uses …

I’m finally convinced that our homeschooling is getting somewhere.

Never underestimate the value of independent play.

And the importance of a Mama’s nap time.

hahahaha! what a clever girl!! she didn’t even use markers which could leave a stain on her nails, what a smart one she is! Glad you got to have your nap too, without a major shock 😀

You have a genius there! I never ever thought of using blue tack, I used liquid paper when I was her age. My mom was surprisingly okay with that. Haha!

    OH that is so cute.
Who knew…blue tack could be so versatile?

I love the color – wish I could find a polish in that shade. I once was so bored during a lecture, I painted my nails with my “wite-out” and then colored with my pink highlighter pen. It was a pretty funky look —- that did not remove easily at all. I learned my lesson to pay attention better in class. LOL

Hehe. Cute and very well done too. Not a nail polish (I mean blue tack) out of place.

Seeing those nails woke me up properly, but yes – not a major shock. They made me laugh out loud!

She dangles socks from her ears as ear-rings. Her toy jewellery is just too boring, it seems.

Ooohh, I did the wite-out too – but without the highlighter pen. Just goes to show you girls will be girls all over the world, eh 😉

It really surprised me. If you met her, you’d hardly think she was girly. Puppy is all over the place, hair, hands and legs.

Puppy will love reading your comment! She was pretty proud of her new toes, wore them out to the playground too.

Very cute! We do special non-toxic kids’ polish, but I like that your daughter found her own way!

This totally made me smile. It reminds me of my little brother. My mother was determined never to buy him a toy gun or anything like it when he was growing up. And he proceeded to make a gun out of legos and anything and everything else. And you know what he grew up to do? He joined the army.
