Last week I went for my first prenatal check up.
Making the familiar drive to the hospital again, I was full of anticipation.
Would I hear a heart beat?
Would I discover anything amiss?
I prayed all the way.
I came out of there relieved and oh so thankful. 10 weeks exactly with all signs looking normal.
I even saw a nose, a hand and a wee foot sticking up.
As the doctor interviewed me on the history of my past pregnancies and deliveries, I was reminded that not all women have it as easy as I have had. No allergies, no complications and 3 natural births (although Puppy had to be vacuum assisted).
Past pregnancies aside, every pregnant woman worries a little about the health of her baby.
What kind of concerns did you have when you were pregnant?
