Cooking and me – we don’t fit in the same sentence.
The truth be told, I loathe cooking. And baking. The bottom line? I eat to live.
Strangely enough, I find myself cooking meals from scratch pretty often, mostly 3 times a day. I find a deep satisfaction knowing my family eats regular homecooked meals with minimal salt, oil and other yucky unmentionables in today’s so-called “food”.
Here’s a list of some of the stranger things I actually enjoy making, or make on a regular basis. What qualifies? Stuff that requires minimal time, minimal effort and minimal ingredients. (See? The kitchen and I have a love-hate relationship.)
