An obedience bookmark for keeps

My bookworm girl, Puppy, made this bookmark recently at Sunday School.

I loved it the moment I saw it.

I am trying my best not to dwell too much on the negative ways in which our kids sometimes respond to our instructions. It just takes up too much energy and doesn’t do anything constructive to our relationship. Love keeps no record of wrongs, Love always hopes!

So when I chanced upon this bookmark while cleaning our bookshelves last week, I paused and thought long and hard about the many times they ran about doing their work with little hands, little feet – Cheerfully. Immediately. Completely.

  2. Lovely to meet you, Kris. I think teaching kids obedience is probably the most challenging part. Give me a million diaper changes anytime!

  3. I know! Boy. I’m trying to tell myself that we all need a standard to follow, but I can’t expect too much from the offspring of someone with the likes of me!
